The item you are looking at is an amazing Flexible Flyer wooden sled from the 1930's. It is a no. 60 J, and has been hanging in an old Vermont barn for about 70 years. It is 58" long, with 36 1/2" long runners, 45" long seat, 14 1/2" width, 7" height, and 24 1/2" cross bar. The bottom says made in the USA, Planet Junior, safety runners, super steering, Allen & co. It is still fully functional as a sled, but would also look great mounted on a wall as decor, upcycled into a coffee table, or with wheels added to be used as a child's wagon. It weighs about 20 pounds, so shipping will be pricey. It can also be picked up locally to avoid shipping costs. I use tracking and delivery confirmation with all my items.
